1956 SELMER Mark VI Tenor Saxophone, US version with engraving, 68xx
Fine harmonics over a supple core coupled with a dark timbre make this Mark VI Tenor Saxophone one of the special Mark VI Tenors.
Made in 1956 in Mantes la Ville near Paris, it was sent in raw condition to Elkhart, Indiana, USA where it was lacquered, engraved and assembled.
The initially selected original neck is still on hand and bears the Saxophone’s serial number.
We treated this beautiful Mark VI to a SAXOPHONIC Premium Overhaul (with reworked mechanics including outsize shafts and CHANU pads with rivetless Inox metal resonators); accordingly, the Sax is in flawless technical condition.
A special Jazz Sax for professional demands, and not just for professionals!
