1967 SELMER Mark VI Alto Saxophone, US version with engraving, 151xxx
This 1967 Mark VI Alto Saxophone has outstanding mechanics: there is no limit to the fast lines you can play. A lovely typical Mark VI homogeneity, full, round tone with an appealingly centered core make this beautiful Mark VI a solid playing companion. Produced in Mantes la Ville near Paris, it was shipped in pieces, i.e., unlacquered, without pads and springs to the SELMER works in Elkhart, Indiana, USA where it was lacquered, engraved and assembled. At some past point in time it was relacquered, and, accordingly, it still looks quite good. We have given the Sax a general overhaul and fine-tuned it in our SAXOPHONIC Workshop.
