  • 1980 SELMER Mark VI Soprano Saxophone, high F#, 303xxx

This SELMER Mark VI Soprano Saxophone looks as pristine as a freshly peeled egg. Only the knowledge that it’s over 40 years-old stops me from calling it brand new. Apparently, it was extremely well maintained and probably not played daily, because the pads still seem to be the originals. Nevertheless, this Mark VI Soprano, which was built in 1980, is wonderfully easy to play throughout every register.

A general overhaul is not necessary at the present time, but one should be done in the next few months to 1-2 years (depending on the degree of use).

The Mark VI Soprano-typical sound character with a beautiful center and well-developed overtone structure comes into its own with this instrument.

Feel free to try it out and compare it with other Mark VI Sopranos from our inventory – we always have 7-10 instruments in stock.
You are also welcome to order all our instruments via our Online Shop, test them at your home, and if you do not like them, return them to us within 14 days.
